Doralee Billings’ expertise and experience in all aspects of running a small business are what set her apart from her competitors. With over 30 years of experience in project & office management, administration, and accounting, she is familiar with the challenges of a diverse set of industries.

We started Small Office Solutions in 2000 in response to a demonstrated need for accounting and business expertise within the dressmaking industry. We soon found ourselves managing multiple businesses, and we recognized the need of other small business owners for accounting and administrative support.

In 2010, Doralee was named one of the "Top 100 MBEs" in Maryland, an annual awards program for women and minority business owners in the mid-Atlantic region. She was also named Business Women's Network of Howard County's 2010 Woman of Distinction. This is an annual award granted in recognition of leadership, professionalism and achievement. In 2008, Doralee was given the Individual Achievement Award by the Howard County Committee for Business and Economic Development. This award is granted on the basis of having gained success and authority within an organization.
